I need to get something off my chest.
Of all the ways we destroy our environment, bottled water is probably the dumbest — and that is saying something.
It doesn’t get us across town or across the world. It doesn’t heat or cool our homes. It doesn’t keep the lights on in our schools and offices. It doesn’t do anything that tap water doesn’t do — except drain overtaxed resources and pollute the goddamn atmosphere.
She’s rich as fuck — although I get that that doesn’t matter. The very rich want more simply for the sake of having more. But shill for something else! Anything else!
She can’t be that clueless that she hasn’t even considered the moral consequences of this contract, right? It must have at least occurred to her at some point over the years she’s been working with this company, right?
So we can assume she’s thought about it — and dismissed it. Passed the buck to the poor people who suffer most from climate change. Cashed her big check. Drank her umpteen overpriced bottles of water that she’s no doubt contractually obligated to be photographed with. Recycled the bottles on occasion and decided her pretty ass was clean.
Seriously.
No wonder Brad dumped your selfish ass.
PS: I realize this won’t show up on their Google Alert. So … SMART WATER. JENNIFER ANISTON. SMART WATER. JENNIFER ANISTON. SMART WATER. JENNIFER ANISTON.

Amen, sister. You need water on the go? It’s not that hard to carry an environmentally-safe, reusable water bottle with you.

Good god I hate bottled water. It’s the biggest scam ever, tricking people into thinking that their tap water is poison, when we live in one of the most advanced industrialized countries in the world. If you’re so scared of your tap water, buy a filter. I’m by no means innocent. On long drives, you have to get a bottle of water if you don’t have your own bottle, but I’m working really hard to break that habit.

Ok, I get you’re upset about the bottled water, but freaking out on Jennifer Aniston? Seriously? It’s not her fault the water is bottled. Honestly. “No wonder Brad dumped your selfish ass”? Excuse me? He dumped her because she drinks bottled water? Well that’s fucking news to me! And here I thought it was because he fell in love with Angelina, but looks like I’ve been wrong all along! It’s because she drinks fucking bottled water! That poor girl! If only she had known! Ladies, don’t drink bottled water because it makes you stupid and guys dump you! What the actual fuck. Like, is this being serious? I’m so fucking done with people. I’m sorry you don’t like bottled water. I understand it’s an issue. I try not to use bottles. But Jennifer Aniston has literally nothing to do with bottled water. It’s not like she goes to the factories every day and, by hand, fills every fucking bottle of fucking water in the whole fucking world. God. If only she had known, then she would still be with Brad Pitt! That poor soul!

LOL is this a joke? There’s so much wrong with this.
Also, bottled water destroying the environment? This is the means of destruction you pick out? Not the entire factory farming industry (which is some insane percentage like 99% of all farms now - not an exaggeration) that contributes more to the destruction of the environment than ALL FORMS OF TRANSPORTATION COMBINED.
That’s right. If you eat meat, you could have an electric car, only use reusable bottles to drink from and bags for shopping, and you would still be a part of the biggest contribution to the END OF THE WORLD.
…I think I just used this as an excuse to get that out there.

I prefer tap water to bottled water, which is why I now use a reusable water bottle. However, not all tap water is clean, and it’s totally debatable — and very dependent on where you live — whether tap water or bottled water is cleaner or healthier.
Seriously, though, it’s true: bottled water is pretty goddamn far down the list of Things That Are Killing Our Planet.  Yes, plastic is bad, etc. etc., but do you realize how shitass water is most places in the world?  Like there is harmful bacteria and human waste and animal waste and pollution all up in that shit.  You need some serious maintenance work to make sure your water won’t kill you to drink it.  You gonna hate on people for trying to avoid lead poisoning from pipes or because they live in an area where the water isn’t properly regulated? And I’m just talking about in the U.S., not even in poor countries where there is basically no regulation of the water at all (which is a different story as people living in really poor areas probably can’t afford/have no access to bottled water…). If you want to get rid of bottled water, then first make sure that pipes and the cleaning of water and all that shit is done correctly.  And if you really want to save earth through nutrition, become a vegan, convince all your friends to become vegans, and then fucking turn the world into a community of vegans with gardens in every backyard. Because that would actually be hella helpful, whereas ragging on celebrities for being paid to shove their face in an advertisement for a brand of bottled water is infinitely pointless.
